Katherine Velazco

Most tattoos begin
with a conversation.

I'm Katherine Velazco, a tattoo artist based in Dublin, working between Europe and Paraguay.

Most of my designs begin the same way: with a conversation. A flower. A pet. A memory. An idea. My job is to turn it into something that feels natural to wear.

Client love

What they say

Katherine transformed my vague idea of "something floral" into the most exquisite piece I've ever seen. She has a gift for listening between the lines.

— Sofia M.

The level of detail in her fine line work is extraordinary. My rose tattoo looks like it was drawn with a single hair. Three years later, still perfect.

— Jamie L.

I was nervous for my first tattoo, but Katherine made the experience completely serene. The studio, the music, the conversation — all of it.

— Adele R.

Common questions

How is the price defined? +
Pricing depends on the size, placement, level of detail and overall complexity of the design. Once I review your idea, I'll provide a quote before confirming your appointment.
Can I see the design before my appointment? +
Yes. I usually send designs a few days before the appointment so we have time to review any final adjustments together.
How do I prepare? +
Get a good night's sleep, eat before your appointment and stay hydrated. Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours beforehand and wear comfortable clothing. Please avoid fake tan, oils and heavy moisturisers on the area being tattooed.
Do you do guest spots outside Dublin? +
Yes. Alongside my work in Dublin, I regularly travel for guest spots across Europe and Paraguay. You can join the waitlist for your city to be notified about future dates.
